A trio of dedicated tech firms triumphed at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2022 recently. CheckedSafe, Geomiq and DriverNet won their categories at a glitzy event held at the London Hilton on Park Lane in London. The awards, presented by actor and comedian Kerry Godliman, saw a crowd of 800 people gather to celebrate the supply chain industry.

CheckedSafe, fifth on our recent RegTech 50 ranking, took the gong for Fleet Innovation of the Year. Based in Burnley, Lancashire, its SaaS platform, accessible on smartphones, can be used for any type of digital compliance. Replacing paper-based checklists, its first focus was on commercial vehicle checks.

The startup beat out competition from Nexus Vehicle Rental, PEOPLE, The John Lewis Partnership & Flexible Power Systems, and Westcoast & Crown Lift Trucks to take the award.

Geomiq, 13th on our FactoryTech 50 ranking, won the Manufacturing Supply Chain Excellence Award. Based in London, the Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform recently secured £8.5m in Series A funding. DriverNet, based in St Helens, won the Smart Mobility Award.

It connects transport providers and their customers by taking paper-based systems and channelling them through its app to provide navigation and reporting channels, resulting in consolidated space for all travel information.

DriverNet featured on the LCR Tech Climbers List in 2019.
